National conference on Intelligent Systems and Communication (NCISC 2016) aims to bring researchers in the related field together to explore and discuss various aspects of intelligent systems, techniques and their applications. Intelligent systems have a certain degree of intelligence to gather and analyze data and to communicate with other systems. There is a growing interest in the development of Intelligent systems as they enable users to accomplish complex tasks with relative ease. This conference will provide excellent platform for sharing one’s research innovations and discussion leading to knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas.

This Department functions under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering. The Department imparts world class training and platform for research to the students. This provides state of the art computing facilities to the students enabling them to stay a step ahead. It also promotes active industry-institute collaboration by identifying key areas of interest to the industry and taking part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services. Some of the major research areas on which the faculty members and students working include Networks, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, Multimedia, Image Processing, Software Engineering, Big Data, Machine Leraning and Data Mining. It also plays host to a number of workshops and student managed Symposiums. ABACUS is the official symposium of the Department that sees participants from all over India.
